About the Position

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth operation of various digital marketing projects, including site launches, web applications and advertising campaigns. The Digital Marketing Project Manager creates the roadmap for implementation; coordinates meetings, delegate tasks, map out budgets, timelines, and other the big-picture details related to marketing. The Digital Project Manager also manages and coordinates with a team of creative professionals including web developers, designers, videographers, content writers and more.

For this position, we expect you to be a tech-savvy professional with an in-depth understanding of technology. The individual handling this role in a company is expected to possess digital orientation, web development, design and SEO knowledge, including use of social media to promote the company’s image, brand and marketing campaigns. HTML and CSS skills is a plus.

Editing and content writing skills will be needed to provide top quality content that will enhance the professional image of the organization. Email marketing and blog posting skills are a plus.

The digital project manager will ensure that every member of the digital marketing team gets his/her job done as effectively as possible. As a Digital project manager, you should also use your communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.

Digital Project Manager Job Description

  • Managing and supervising marketing projects from beginning to end.
  • Identify all potential scope issues and address them internally with team
  • Using content management systems and project management software.
  • Aligning digital marketing strategies with overall business goals.
  • Working with the marketing director to create a strategic marketing strategy and mapping out the tasks needed to implement that strategy.
  • Collaborating with writers and graphic designers to create advertising content.
  • Creating and managing a content calendar and scheduling deadlines.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of the company, its products, and its client base to implement effective marketing campaigns.

Requirements – Skills, Knowledge, Abilities

  • Proven work experience as a Digital project manager
  • Hands on experience with project management software, like Asana
  • Familiarity with Content Management systems and HTML/CSS
  • Understanding of SEO and Google Analytics
  • Proven experience creating Infusionsoft campaigns & email broadcast emails
  • Solid technical background with an ability to address accessibility and compatibility issues
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Communication and team management skills
