About the position:

The Digital Marketing Account Manager is a position that requires finesse as well as organizational skills and stress management. Collaboration and teamwork are key to this role. This person is responsible for the overall client satisfaction, email funnel delivery, and funnel management for assigned accounts. The Digital Marketing Account Manager is the primary relationship owner, serves as the project manager for all deliverables, and ensures both client and agency team are satisfied. They will coordinate supporting vendor projects (technology build, copywriting, design) and is responsible for monthly reporting to the client on performance marketing strategies and recommending improvements or additional services as appropriate.

Skills/Abilities:

The ideal candidate will have –

  • A solid understanding of direct-response marketing principles, measurement and analytics, internet technology, UI/UX, content strategy, KPI reporting
  • The ability to “connect-the-dots” across channels, touchpoints, and team members
  • Takes proactive initiative to innovate and solve problems without direct supervision and/or direction to accomplish clients’ high-level goals
  • Account management experience and/or team leadership experience
  • Working knowledge of CRM functions, email management system functions, Asana or similar project management software, Dropbox or similar cloud storage system, and Microsoft Office product suite
  • Proven ability to learn new tools and software quickly and independently
  • 2+ years of digital marketing experience – must have a working knowledge of direct-response marketing principles, email marketing, and sales funnels (working with cross-functional teams is a plus)
  • 2+ years project management experience
  • Combined experience in marketing, consulting, or client services industry
